The spacious layout includes a tatami seating area, perfect for families and friends looking to enjoy a meal in comfort. Escape to this serene spot where you can sip on rich coffee and savor an array of delectable dishes while perusing an eclectic selection of books available for guests.

The Menu at Zahon Cafe is a pleasing blend of flavorful offerings that cater to both local and Japanese tastes. From the moment you glance at the menu, you might feel overwhelmed with the delightful options. Customers rave about the Salmon Mentaikodon, which is lauded for its crispy salmon and generous mentai sauce, earning an impressive 8/10 rating from regulars. For those with a sweet tooth, the milk pudding is a visually appealing dessert that is as cute as it is comforting, receiving a respectable 7/10 score.

Nice hidden gem japanese theme cafe in Terengganu. Food is good with the portion and price. Taste is some is Hit some is Miss Milk pudding ni Hit 7/10 , very aesthetically cute and taste wise is okay Chicken wing is Miss 4/10 as it is greasy and a bit undercooked, there’s still a bit of pinky flesh. Salmon Mentaikodon is a Hit 8/10. Crispy salmon. Mentai is generous but somehow turning muak at last bite. Portion is very generous with price. Rainbow Matcha Hit 9/10 ! Creamy, flavorful and fruity Matcha Latte toppp hittttt 10/10. One of the best matcha option in Terengganu. Japanese matcha standard not only niko neko matcha. Creamy and strong Will repeat

The staff was so helpfuI in guiding us what to dine in. The ambiance is so cozy like you are at home, selections of books to read while waiting for the food to be served. Highly recommended for those who like Japanese food.

My go-to Japanese café in Terengganu! ???????? Been here a few times already—every time I balik Terengganu, I’ll make a stop here. It’s become a wajib pit stop! The place is spacious and cozy, with a nice Japanese-inspired concept. You’ll find books, anime touches, and even a tatami seating area for that authentic feel. Parking is a bit limited, and the road outside can get busy since it’s near a junction—so plan accordingly. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can browse the menu first, then order at the counter. Waiting time is usually fast, but can be longer depending on the queue. Food & Price: Chef’s kiss! I’ve tried Japanese cafés on the west coast, but this one hits different—more flavourful, more generous, and way more affordable. Portion size is satisfying, and the taste? Sedap gila! From donburi to matcha desserts, everything feels freshly made with care. You get quality without burning your wallet. Perfect for students, families, or anyone craving Japanese food without KL prices. The green tea is free-flow, which is great—but the taste is a bit pucat, macam air kosong. Maybe they can improve the concentration a bit so it feels more like real Japanese tea. Overall, I really hope the owner continues to maintain the great service and vibes. Wishing you all the best and semoga terus maju!

Place is well spaces.. good concept of Japan bit more to anime theme.. theres a place for tatami seat.. the parking is quite limited and the road is sometimes quite busy.. its near the junction. Staff is good.. you can look up at menu first and the order it at counter.. the waiting time a kinda fast.. maybe not too many people at that time Miso chicken ramen The portion is satisfying. I like to comment on the broth. The broth is less creamy but with that more flavour comes vibrant.. I taste the mushrooms and miso better and umami is strong.. usually I like my ramen more to creamy umami.. but it don’t have that.. the noodle is good.. chewy and the thickness is okay. The chicken is well cooked and have a good burnt taste. Overall is a good experience for me. Chicken curry katsu bento The portion is quite big. The chicken is well cooked and juicy. The batter tastes is good and it really sip through the chicken.. the curry is japan curry. It quite spices not to spice but more on the other spices .. the rice.. Im sure it use Japanese rice .. hope so hahaha.. the side sweet potato is very nice.. its sweet and goes well with chicken.. The green tea is free flow but the tea is not like tea.. so pucat.. maybe they need to add up the concentration for the tea.. almost think it a regular water.
